Gourmet Friends provides a social, networking event in the form of dining out, created with singles in mind this gives you an opportunity to be able to get out and experience different restaurants and not be alone. We do extend this to couples who also may need to get out and make new aquaintances. This is not a dating service, this is a chance to get out and meet new people, but you never know you just may meet that special person.
Every 2nd Saturday night a restaurant is picked and tables of 6 are booked with a mixture of males and females (depending also on who has booked). Tables need to be prebooked no later than 1 week prior to the prefered night, with a non refundable booking fee of $12.00. We are the coordinators not the entertainers.
First names will be given to your table partners, to give some sort of warning just in case you have a certain person you wish not to sit with.
What restaurant, which town? These can be nominated by you, we will add them on the list. Coffs Harbour, Sawtell and Bellingen all have suitable venues. An organized trip to Port Macquarie or the Hunter for example is on the cards.
A joining up fee of AUD $ 25.00 is required and will last for one year. The new year will start 01 Feb, if you join up after 30 August the fee will be $12.00.
Once we have a good membership data base we will then organize trips to Port Macquarie and the Hunter region to name a couple of events.
